Two Point O Capital, a Gurugram-based startup, has successfully raised $6.3 million in a seed funding round led by Omnivore, with contributions from Multiply Ventures, RTP Global, GrowX, Spectrum Impact, and several prominent angel investors.

This investment aims to enhance Two Point O’s tech-enabled platform, which specializes in sourcing, financing, and monitoring distributed clean energy projects. The startup is focused on attracting top talent to build a world-class team dedicated to accelerating the energy transition.

The founders, Archit Mehrotra, Karan Bhutani, Manya Ranjan, and Shashidhar Reddy, expressed their gratitude for the backing received: “We are excited to have this immense support from our investors. This investment will significantly accelerate our growth and help us attract top talent across various functions.”

Founded in 2024, Two Point O Capital provides flexible financing solutions tailored for distributed clean energy initiatives in the commercial and industrial sectors, focusing on solar rooftops, energy efficiency, and wastewater treatment. The startup offers leasing and capital expenditure financing options and aims to partner with operating and financial entities to manage a high-quality portfolio.

Abhilash Sethi, Investment Director at Omnivore, highlighted the startup’s potential to transform India’s clean energy landscape, particularly in underserved areas like rural and agricultural sectors. “Two Point O’s innovative approach could unlock vital capital for distributed energy assets, empowering businesses across India to pursue sustainability,” he noted.

Raveen Sastry, Partner at Multiply Ventures, added that the startup’s solutions could help close the estimated $10 billion annual financing gap for clean energy projects in India. “We are thrilled to support this talented team as they work towards a cleaner, more sustainable future for India,” he said.
