EMotorad, a leading player in the e-cycle and micro-mobility sector and backed by MS Dhoni, has announced a strategic partnership with Booz Mobility, an innovative startup featured on Shark Tank India. This collaboration marks a pioneering initiative in India, representing the first-ever partnership between an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and a micro-mobility operator aimed at enhancing sustainable transportation solutions.

Exclusive Supply of Electric Kick Scooters

As part of this exclusive alliance, EMotorad will serve as the sole supplier of electric kick scooters for Booz Mobility’s fleet. This initiative will facilitate intra-campus mobility within gated communities, providing residents with a convenient and eco-friendly commuting option. Booz Mobility specializes in offering EV Fleet-As-A-Subscription services tailored primarily for gated communities.

Launching the Lil E Electric Kick Scooter

The partnership focuses on the rollout of EMotorad’s innovative Lil E electric kick scooter, designed for short-distance commuting in urban areas. The companies aim to supply 500 Lil E scooters by the end of FY25, enhancing mobility solutions for residents in metro areas.

Kunal Gupta, CEO of EMotorad, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to see such incredible collaborations in our business. This partnership aligns perfectly with our vision to shape the future of Indian electric transportation.”

Vision for Sustainable Intra-Campus Transport

Booz Mobility, under the leadership of founder Rutvij Dasadia, aims to transform the way short-distance commutes are handled in gated communities. The startup plans to cater to 850 million square feet of gated premises by 2025, utilizing EMotorad’s electric scooters to provide a sustainable and efficient commuting solution.

“This partnership will change the perspective of how people see micro-mobility in India,” Dasadia noted. “With EMotorad as our strategic partner, we aim to provide a futuristic commuting solution for thousands of users, solving larger mobility issues related to short commutes.”
