Nazara Technologies-possessed a-sports company NODWIN Gaming has acquired the gaming and adjacent IP business of OML Entertainment for a cash consideration of Rs 73 crore or $10 million.
The transaction will give partial liquidity to OML Entertainment shareholders and CA Media. Ajay Nair, MD of OML Entertainment, will join the NODWIN Gaming board as part of this transaction, said the company in a public statement.
OML works with comedians like Tanmay Bhat, Suhani Shah and Smay Raina. It also works with a portion of the notable brands in India to create notable properties like Levi’s Music Week and the gigantically fruitful YouTube FanFest.
NODWIN Gaming, a part of the listed company Nazara Technologies, is a gaming and sports media platform with a presence in India and global markets like Africa and North America. It offers interactive gaming, e-sports and gamified early learning biological systems.
Earlier in March, NODWIN Gaming had raised Rs 164 crore from Krafton, the designer of PUBG Mobile.
