Google Doodle Celebrates 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Day with Unique Seine Parade

July 26, 2024 – Google is marking the commencement of the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics with a special animated Doodle that highlights a unique feature of this year’s opening ceremony. For the first time in Olympic history, the opening event will not take place in a stadium but will instead feature a grand parade of athletes floating down the River Seine in Paris. This year’s Games will run from July 26 to August 11, featuring 329 events across 32 sports disciplines.
