From office spaces in India to restaurants in the U.S., Flipspaces is setting a new benchmark for tech-driven interiors – and investors are betting big.

Flipspaces, a fast-growing interior design and build startup, has raised an additional $50 million in its Series C funding round to supercharge its expansion across India, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates. With this fresh capital infusion, the company’s total Series C funding now stands at over $85 million.

The latest round brought in new investors including CE-Invests from the UAE, Panthera Growth Partners from Singapore, and SMBC Asia Rising Fund from Japan. The round also allowed early investor Carpediem Capital to exit, making way for new growth opportunities.

Why Investors are Excited About Flipspaces

Flipspaces is not your average interior design firm. It’s a technology-first platform aiming to reshape how interior design and construction projects are planned and executed. Its founder and CEO Kunal Sharma believes the future of interior design lies in AI-driven tools, immersive experiences, and streamlined processes that make projects faster, more transparent, and more cost-effective.

We are building not just a company, but an ecosystem powered by technology that will redefine how spaces are designed and built around the world,” Sharma said.

How Flipspaces is Changing Interior Design

A Platform That Does It All

Flipspaces operates on a platform-driven model, connecting all key parts of a project – from business development to design, supply chain management, and execution. This integration ensures projects are completed efficiently and without unnecessary delays.

Its proprietary Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system helps clients manage tasks seamlessly, while virtual-reality walkthroughs allow them to experience and modify designs in real time.

AI at the Core

The company is investing heavily in artificial intelligence (AI) tools that enhance every aspect of the process – from cost estimation and budgeting to project tracking and delivery timelines. This helps clients stay on schedule and avoid budget overruns, which are common problems in the interior design industry.

Where Flipspaces Works and Who It Serves

Expanding Across Continents

Founded in 2015 by Kunal Sharma, along with Ankur Muchhal, Vikash Anand, and Mrinal Sharma, Flipspaces has already completed more than 1,000 projects covering over 8 million square feet across India, the U.S., and the UAE.

In India, it has been a go-to partner for office designs, helping corporates build efficient and aesthetically pleasing workplaces. In the United States, the focus has shifted towards restaurants, cafés, and hospitality spaces, where customer experience is vital. The company is now eyeing large enterprises like Adani, Genpact, and Larsen & Toubro for strategic collaborations.

Looking Ahead

With this new round of funding, Flipspaces plans to:

  • Strengthen its technology, especially its AI tools.
  • Expand its global footprint, entering new markets and sectors.
  • Explore acquisitions in the U.S., UAE, and India to enhance service offerings.

Why This Matters

The interior design and construction industry has long been plagued by inefficiencies, lack of transparency, and slow project deliveries. Flipspaces’ platform-driven approach backed by AI is solving these problems head-on, offering clients faster, smarter, and more cost-effective solutions.

As businesses increasingly prioritize flexible, functional, and beautiful workspaces, companies like Flipspaces are stepping in to make design and build processes seamless and user-friendly.

The Future of Interior Design is Tech-Driven

Flipspaces’ mission goes beyond making interiors look good. It’s about making the entire experience smarter, simpler, and more accessible through technology. With its eyes set on global expansion and continued innovation, Flipspaces is not just transforming spaces – it’s transforming how people approach designing them.
