DesignX Secures $2 Million to Supercharge Smart Manufacturing Revolution

Noida-based industrial tech startup DesignX just closed a $2 million pre-Series A funding round led by Rockstud Capital, with strong backing from We Founder Circle, Piper Serica, and some of its own clients.

This fresh capital injection will fuel DesignX’s ambitious plans to expand aggressively across India and overseas, while also powering up its cutting-edge platform with enhanced AI and integration features.

Who’s Behind DesignX?

Founded in 2015 by brothers and engineers Rajat and Nishant Srivastava, DesignX is on a mission to digitize factory floors like never before.

Their flagship product, a Digital Factory Operating System (Df-OS), currently automates and monitors 600+ factory floor processes. It seamlessly integrates with existing enterprise systems such as ERP, IoT devices, and other tools, delivering real-time operational insights that help manufacturers optimize production efficiency.

Big Names Trust DesignX’s Tech

DesignX’s client roster reads like a who’s who of industry giants, including:

  • Unilever
  • Suzuki
  • Dabur
  • Hero MotoCorp

These companies rely on DesignX’s platform across industries such as automotive, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and pharmaceuticals — all sectors rapidly embracing Industry 4.0.

The Competition Is Fierce — But DesignX Stands Out

In a growing market packed with startups like Precog, Infinite Uptime, and Lynkit, DesignX differentiates itself through:

  • Deep integration capabilities
  • Extensive digitization coverage of factory operations
  • AI-driven insights tailored for complex manufacturing environments

This combination positions DesignX as a strong contender in the smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 space.

What’s Next for DesignX?

With fresh funds in hand, DesignX plans to:

  • Scale operations rapidly across India’s industrial hubs
  • Break into international markets hungry for factory digitization
  • Boost the AI capabilities of its platform, delivering even smarter insights
  • Enhance integrations with new and emerging enterprise tools

Why This Matters

As manufacturers globally shift towards digital transformation to stay competitive, solutions like DesignX’s Df-OS are becoming critical. The ability to harness factory data, automate processes, and make smarter operational decisions isn’t just a luxury — it’s a necessity.

DesignX’s recent funding round signals strong investor confidence in its vision to lead the smart manufacturing revolution in India and beyond.
