Pliops, a Ramat Gan, Israel-based issuer of cloud storage solutions, raised $30m in Series B funding.

The round, which introduced the whole amount raised to this point to $40m, was led through SoftBank Ventures Asia, with participation from Series A traders Intel Capital, State of Mind Ventures (SOMV) and Viola Ventures, together with strategic traders Western Digital Capital and Xilinx Inc.

The enterprise intends to apply the price range to boost up improvement of its storage processor technology for cloud garage and database applications, together with enlargement of its groups in the US, Israel and China.

Founded in 2017 through flash storage enterprise veterans from Samsung, M-Systems and XtremIO and led through Uri Beitler, CEO, Pliops is growing a brand new class of product that allows cloud and employer facts facilities to access data faster with low computational load and strength consumption, fixing the scalability demanding situations raised through the cloud facts explosion and the growing data necessities of AI and ML applications.
