HealthPlix Technologies Pvt Ltd, which runs a computerized reasoning based clinical records stage, on Wednesday said it has raised $13.5 million (around Rs 99 crore) as a feature of its continuous Series B round.

The financing was driven by Lightspeed and joined by existing financial backers JSW Ventures, Kalaari and Chiratae.

The Bengaluru-based startup was set up in 2016 by Raghuraj Sunder Raju, Prasad Basavaraj, and Sandeep Gudibanda. Its foundation permits specialists to communicate with patients, emergency clinics, analytic research centers, drug/hardware producers and guarantors.

The startup is supporting in excess of 60,000 discussions across more than 15 specialities consistently, it claims.

Vaibhav Agrawal, accomplice at Lightspeed, and a previous doctor, said that what separates HealthPlix is its PCP first B2B approach.

In June a year ago, HealthPlix said it raised $6 million (Rs 45 crore) in its Series B round drove by new financial backer JSW Ventures.

Other wellbeing tech adventures have pulled in financial backer consideration in the new past.

For instance, a month ago, MediBuddy, previously DocsApp, said it had shut its Series B round of $40 million.

Lightspeed has sponsored new businesses like Byju’s, Oyo and ShareChat. In August a year ago, it raised $275 million (Rs 2052 crore) for its new asset.

The investment company’s third asset will keep on zeroing in on beginning phase new companies in India. Lightspeed at first put resources into India through its worldwide assets.

Since it started working in the country in 2007, it has submitted over 80% of its speculations at the seed and Series A phases.
