InsuranceDekho, a prominent force in India’s insurtech industry, has announced the launch of its innovative SaaS platform, Heph, designed to enhance the efficiency of insurance distributors. With a notable achievement of insuring over 8 million customers—equivalent to 21 individuals every minute—InsuranceDekho attributes its success to a cutting-edge technological approach.

Founder and CEO Ankit Agrawal highlights that the company’s advanced technological integration has been crucial to its success. The use of AI-based video verification, AI-driven vehicle inspections, and real-time verification with institutions such as CERSAI and banks has streamlined agent onboarding and minimized fraud. This technological efficiency enables InsuranceDekho’s partners to offer an extensive portfolio of over 600 plans from 48 insurers, all through a rapid 60-second CKYC process.

The company’s expansive partner network, which includes over 85% of its partners from tier 2, 3, and 4 cities, has broadened access to insurance products across diverse regions. InsuranceDekho’s digital platform simplifies the distribution and management of a variety of insurance products, including motor, life, health, travel, pet, and SME insurance.

Furthermore, InsuranceDekho’s smart renewal management system enhances customer experience by sending policy renewal reminders to agents, thus improving convenience and satisfaction. “Historically, insurance has been viewed as complex and inaccessible, especially in rural areas. Our goal is to demystify insurance and make it as indispensable as food and shelter in every household. Through technological innovation and empowering our partner network, we aim to achieve universal insurance coverage,” Agrawal stated.
