Briar Prestidge: Leading the Charge in Executive Branding and the Metaverse

Briar Prestidge, the founder and CEO of Prestidge Group, is revolutionizing the landscape of executive branding and public relations in today’s digital era. With a vision that predates the current corporate focus on leadership profiles and social media presence, Prestidge has navigated the challenging waters of entrepreneurship since launching her agency in Dubai eight years ago.

In 2016, the concept of executive branding was largely dismissed by industry peers. Prestidge recalls the skepticism she faced when proposing a social media-focused branding approach for CEOs and executives. “Many experienced people told me my business would fail,” she says, reflecting on her early days of living in a small room and subsisting on frozen vegetables. Yet, her determination paid off; today, Prestidge Group stands as a comprehensive agency with an impressive roster of clients ranging from royalty to tech entrepreneurs.

What sets Prestidge Group apart in a crowded market is its strategic focus. “We are strategists with many ex-journalists working in-house, not just a content creation agency,” Prestidge asserts. This unique approach allows her team to craft authentic narratives for clients, effectively bridging traditional media strategies with innovative digital branding.

As Prestidge expands her business into the U.S. market from her New York office, she faces new challenges, particularly the polarized political climate. “Younger generations expect CEOs to take a stand on societal issues, which complicates messaging,” she explains. This nuanced understanding of communication is vital in a world where authenticity is paramount.

In addition to her work in executive branding, Prestidge is pioneering projects in the metaverse and Web3. Her documentary, 48 Hours in the Metaverse, captures a groundbreaking exploration of virtual worlds, highlighting her commitment to innovation. Furthermore, her digital fashion label, Oltair, caters to Gen Z and Gen Alpha, who prioritize self-expression through their avatars in gaming environments like Roblox.

Prestidge’s role as a metaverse board advisor for organizations like Interpol and the Metaverse Fashion Council showcases her influence in shaping the future of digital interaction and fashion. “We believe that Gen Z and Gen Alpha will drive the next generation of the internet,” she states, positioning her agency at the forefront of this evolution.

Beyond digital branding, Prestidge is also exploring the intersections of technology and humanity, delving into topics like longevity and transhumanism through her podcast, Hyperscale, and her docu-series, Cyborg to BE. Her interviews with experts, including Noland Arbaugh, the first human to receive a brain-computer implant from Neuralink, reflect her passion for leveraging technology to enhance human lives.

For aspiring entrepreneurs, Prestidge emphasizes the importance of building strong networks and being adaptable. “Focus on improving your product and service, and prioritize customer satisfaction over chasing investment,” she advises. As the world transitions to an era dominated by AI and robotics, she encourages entrepreneurs to embrace change as an opportunity for growth.

With her forward-thinking approach and unwavering optimism, Briar Prestidge is not just following the trends—she is setting them. As she continues to push boundaries, the future of executive branding and digital interaction is brighter than ever.
