Flipspaces, a fast-growing interior design and build startup, has raised an additional $50 million in its Series C funding round to supercharge its expansion across India, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates. With this fresh capital infusion, the company’s total Series C funding now stands at over $85 million.
The latest round brought in new investors including CE-Invests from the UAE, Panthera Growth Partners from Singapore, and SMBC Asia Rising Fund from Japan. The round also allowed early investor Carpediem Capital to exit, making way for new growth opportunities.
Flipspaces is not your average interior design firm. It’s a technology-first platform aiming to reshape how interior design and construction projects are planned and executed. Its founder and CEO Kunal Sharma believes the future of interior design lies in AI-driven tools, immersive experiences, and streamlined processes that make projects faster, more transparent, and more cost-effective.

Its proprietary Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system helps clients manage tasks seamlessly, while virtual-reality walkthroughs allow them to experience and modify designs in real time.
The company is investing heavily in artificial intelligence (AI) tools that enhance every aspect of the process – from cost estimation and budgeting to project tracking and delivery timelines. This helps clients stay on schedule and avoid budget overruns, which are common problems in the interior design industry.
Founded in 2015 by Kunal Sharma, along with Ankur Muchhal, Vikash Anand, and Mrinal Sharma, Flipspaces has already completed more than 1,000 projects covering over 8 million square feet across India, the U.S., and the UAE.
In India, it has been a go-to partner for office designs, helping corporates build efficient and aesthetically pleasing workplaces. In the United States, the focus has shifted towards restaurants, cafés, and hospitality spaces, where customer experience is vital.
