Adda247, a Google-backed edtech company, has acquired PrepInsta, a platform dedicated to placement preparation, as part of its ambitious strategy to enhance job-focused skilling programs. This acquisition continues Adda247’s trend of strategic expansions, following its previous takeovers of StudyIQ in 2021, Veeksha in 2023, and Ekagrata in July 2024.
Founded in 2019, PrepInsta specializes in helping engineering students prepare for assessments and interviews, securing roles such as data scientists, software engineers, full-stack developers, and quality analysts. The platform has garnered attention for its programs focused on in-demand fields like generative AI, AI/ML, cloud computing, and data science, positioning students for careers in Global Capability Centers (GCCs), Global System Integrators (GSIs), and leading digital companies.
Atulya Kaushik, co-founder of PrepInsta, expressed enthusiasm for joining Adda247, noting that their combined resources will allow them to reach over 1.2 million paid users, particularly engineering students and freshers.

The recent introduction of its first Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) buyback, benefiting over 130 employees, further demonstrates its commitment to innovation and employee welfare in the edtech sector.
