Back in 2016, Kuldip Sorathiya’s life seemed stuck in a dead-end. Born into a farming family in Gujarat’s Kolda village, he faced the crushing weight of Rs 17 lakh family debt. His hopes of studying in Canada were shattered when his education loan was denied due to missing IT returns.

With just Rs 15,000 in his pocket, Kuldip took a leap of faith. From a tiny 150 sq. ft. rented room in Ahmedabad, he launched Ksquare Energy — a company that would soon light up thousands of rooftops and transform the solar energy landscape in India.
