MagicFleet Surpasses 1 Million Monthly Deliveries, Eyes 2 Million by FY26

MagicFleet, the logistics arm of hyperlocal commerce platform Magicpin, has hit a significant milestone, crossing over one million deliveries per month less than a year after its launch in September 2024. With ambitious growth plans, the company aims to double this volume to two million monthly deliveries by the end of fiscal year 2026.

From Launch to Milestone: MagicFleet’s Rapid Growth

Launched as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) logistics infrastructure, MagicFleet was designed to empower micro and small logistics entrepreneurs across India. In just under a year, it has onboarded more than 100,000 delivery partners and established its presence in seven major metropolitan cities—Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai.

The company’s rapid expansion reflects the growing demand for efficient hyperlocal delivery solutions in India’s booming quick-commerce sector.

The Power of Integration: ONDC and Magicpin Demand Engine

A key driver behind MagicFleet’s success is its integration with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), a government-backed initiative to democratize e-commerce, and Magicpin’s own demand engine. This powerful combination enables local fleet operators—some managing as few as 10 riders—to scale operations and serve the unique needs of hyperlocal customers efficiently.

Anshoo Sharma, co-founder and CEO of Magicpin, explained:

“We are already among the top three food delivery players in the country, and building logistics capabilities is a natural progression to drive more business to our merchant partners.”

Currently delivering around 1.4 million orders per month, MagicFleet is already ranked among the top five hyperlocal logistics players in India.

Technology at the Core: AI and Smart Logistics Management

MagicFleet’s platform leverages cutting-edge artificial intelligence to optimize logistics management and enhance operational efficiency. Some of the standout features include:

  • Automated smart rider allocation: Ensures orders are assigned to the most suitable riders based on location, capacity, and availability.
  • Real-time fleet tracking: Allows both operators and customers to monitor deliveries live, improving transparency and trust.
  • Dynamic surge pricing: Adjusts delivery charges based on demand fluctuations, balancing supply and ensuring service availability.
  • Support for Return-to-Origin (RTO) and Cash-on-Delivery (CoD): Catering to common challenges in e-commerce logistics.
  • End-to-end operational visibility: Offers comprehensive insights into delivery workflows for better decision-making.

Empowering Riders and Franchise Partners

A unique aspect of MagicFleet’s model is the rider companion app, designed to simplify fleet management for franchise operators. This app enables:

  • Onboarding and managing riders easily at the local level.
  • Daily payouts processed within 24 working hours, providing riders with quick access to earnings.
  • Performance-linked bonuses combined with competitive base pay to incentivize quality and reliability.
  • Consistent order volumes through access to the ONDC network, helping maintain steady income streams.

This focus on rider welfare and support aims to attract and retain talent critical to MagicFleet’s scalability.

Franchise Model: Driving Hyperlocal Efficiency

MagicFleet operates on a franchise model, which targets delivery density at the neighborhood and pin-code level. This approach enhances:

  • Customer satisfaction: By enabling faster, more reliable deliveries in localized areas.
  • Fleet profitability: Through better route optimization and increased order density.
  • Service scalability: Allowing micro-entrepreneurs to tap into a vast demand pool with manageable operations.

By fostering local entrepreneurship, MagicFleet not only improves delivery quality but also contributes to job creation and economic inclusion.

Strategic Diversification for Magicpin

MagicFleet represents a strategic move for Magicpin, expanding its portfolio beyond hyperlocal commerce to become a logistics backbone supporting quick-commerce growth across India. As the quick-commerce sector evolves, reliable and scalable delivery infrastructure is becoming a crucial differentiator.

Sharma emphasized the significance of this expansion:

“Building logistics capabilities is key to unlocking new revenue streams for our merchant partners and supporting the growth of the quick-commerce economy.”

This diversification strengthens Magicpin’s position in the market and opens new avenues for long-term growth.

What Lies Ahead: The Road to 2 Million Deliveries

With a current footprint across seven metropolitan hubs and a growing network of delivery partners, MagicFleet is poised for rapid scaling. Its target to double monthly deliveries to two million by FY26 will require:

  • Expanding into new cities and regions beyond the current metro zones.
  • Continuing investment in AI and technology to optimize logistics.
  • Enhancing rider and franchise support systems to ensure consistent service quality.
  • Deepening integration with ONDC and other digital commerce platforms to tap wider demand.

If MagicFleet continues on its current trajectory, it could soon become one of the largest and most efficient hyperlocal logistics networks in India.

Why MagicFleet’s Growth Matters for India’s Logistics Landscape

India’s e-commerce and quick-commerce sectors are growing exponentially, but logistics remains a bottleneck due to fragmentation and inefficiency. MagicFleet’s SaaS-enabled, franchise-driven approach offers a scalable solution tailored for the country’s unique challenges.

By combining technology, local entrepreneurship, and platform integration, MagicFleet is setting a new benchmark for hyperlocal logistics—one that other players will likely try to emulate.

Final Thoughts

MagicFleet’s milestone of crossing one million monthly deliveries less than a year after launch is a testament to its innovative business model and execution. With ambitious plans to double that number by FY26, the company is positioned to play a vital role in India’s hyperlocal delivery revolution.

For merchants, riders, and customers alike, MagicFleet promises faster, smarter, and more reliable deliveries, helping power the next wave of growth in India’s digital commerce ecosystem.
