Yotta Data Services has launched the Shambho Accelerator Program, a groundbreaking initiative designed to support over 3,600 Indian deeptech startups by providing access to state-of-the-art AI and high-performance computing (HPC) resources. Partnering with Nasscom AI and the Telangana AI Mission, this program aims to drive innovation across fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and data science.
At the core of the Shambho Accelerator is Yotta’s Shakti Cloud, a high-performance computing platform featuring NVIDIA’s H100 Tensor Core GPUs. This advanced technology is tailored for AI and HPC workloads and offers startups up to $200,000 in credits to expedite their AI development. The initial cohort will be selected from Nasscom’s GenAI Foundry, which specializes in nurturing emerging AI startups.
Sunil Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Yotta Data Services, underscored the program’s significance in advancing India’s ambition to become a $5 trillion economy. He stressed that the success of AI startups hinges on scalable high-performance computing, a need the Shambho Accelerator is poised to meet. The initiative aims to democratize access to supercomputing and hyperscale cloud resources, thus bolstering India’s AI ecosystem.
The launch of the Shambho Accelerator comes at a time when Indian deeptech startups are rapidly integrating advanced technologies like AI, Blockchain, IoT, and Robotics. Yotta’s infrastructure will enable these startups to scale their innovations into impactful products and services.
The program also includes customized mentorship sessions to support startups with technical development, business strategy, and scaling. Participants will benefit from networking opportunities with industry experts, investors, and potential customers, further enhancing their growth prospects.
Sangeeta Gupta, Sr. VP and Chief Strategy Officer at Nasscom, emphasized the crucial role of such initiatives in the evolving AI landscape. She believes the Shambho Accelerator will significantly advance AI innovation and encourage startups to create cutting-edge solutions in cloud computing, AI, data science, and HPC.
