When a buddy presented his mixtape to Shurod Brown, the CEO of Heaven Sent Entertainment, in 2004, his real hard work was rewarded. Brown was intrigued by how distinctive, marketable, and catchy his music was. Brown admired Keem’s modesty, humility, and enthusiasm when they first met. A partnership was created right away. Following two years of artist development with Brown, Ray DeJon, and Curtis Alias “Fifty,” it was time to show off Keem’s abilities. After that, Keem delivered back-to-back successful projects by visiting various countries. He collaborated with multiple well-known artists such as Lupe Fiasco, P. Diddy, Busta Rhymes, Trey Songz, and many others during this time period.
