Wellbeing Nutrition, a rapidly growing health and wellness startup, has announced the appointment of Varun Kandhari as its new Chief Marketing and Growth Officer. Bringing over 18 years of marketing and P&L leadership experience from renowned global companies, Varun is expected to play a pivotal role in the startup’s ambitious plans to double its revenue and expand its global footprint this year.
Varun’s extensive background spans leadership roles at major FMCG companies such as Mars Wrigley, Unilever, and Davide Campari-Milano N.V. During his decade-long tenure at Mars Wrigley, Varun was a key member of India’s executive leadership team and served as Director of Marketing and Strategic Demand. He led initiatives that resulted in 12-fold business growth, increased profitability, and the successful launch of new product categories.
Prior to that, Varun worked at Unilever, managing the home and personal care portfolio across India and South Asia, including Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. Most recently, he served as Chief Marketing Officer and Strategy Lead at Davide Campari-Milano N.V., where he was also part of the executive leadership team for India and South Asia.
