From Sparkle to Surge: Aukera’s Valuation Skyrockets 4.5X After $15M Series B Round

Lab-grown diamond brand Aukera is officially on fire.

In a stunning growth leap, the Bengaluru-based startup has raised $15 million in a Series B funding round, catapulting its valuation by more than 4.5X—from ₹124 crore to a whopping ₹604 crore (around $71 million).

The round was led by Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India & SEA), with continued support from existing backers Fireside Ventures, Sparrow Capital, Prath Ventures, and Alteria Capital.

For a brand that raised just $3.2 million last August, this is a massive leap in just one year—and the industry is taking notice.

Who Poured Money Into Aukera?

The fresh round, as revealed by regulatory filings accessed by Entrackr, included the issuance of 988,129 Series B preference shares at an issue price of ₹1,250.3 each, raising ₹124 crore (~$15 million).

Here’s the round-wise breakdown:

  • Peak XV Partners: ₹90.6 crore
  • Fireside Ventures: ₹23.7 crore
  • Sparrow Capital, Prath Ventures, and Alteria Capital: Contributed the rest

The New Shareholding Breakdown

According to data from TheKredible, here’s how the company’s ownership now stands:

  • Fireside Ventures: 19.1% (largest external stakeholder)
  • Peak XV Partners: 15%
  • Co-founders Lisa Mukhedkar & Kumar Saurabh: 24.1% each

That’s nearly 50% of the company still held by the founders, signaling long-term confidence in the business’s direction.

What Makes Aukera So Valuable?

Let’s be clear—this isn’t just about diamonds. Aukera is redefining luxury with sustainability, offering lab-grown diamond jewellery that appeals to modern, eco-conscious, design-driven consumers.

As a D2C (direct-to-consumer) brand, Aukera taps into the new-age customer looking for quality, ethics, and elegance—all without the mined diamond baggage.

And clearly, investors are betting big on this intersection of technology, fashion, and sustainability.

Rapid Rise in Numbers

  • August 2024 Valuation: ₹124 crore (~$15M)
  • August 2025 Valuation: ₹604 crore (~$71M)
  • Capital Raised Till Date: ~$19 million

That’s over 4.5X growth in just 12 months—a scale few brands in the jewellery or D2C space have matched recently.

What’s Next for Aukera?

With this fresh funding, Aukera is likely to scale operations, expand product lines, boost brand presence, and possibly open offline experience centers to complement its D2C model.

Given how rapidly the lab-grown diamond market is growing globally—and with Indian consumers becoming more brand-conscious and sustainability-aware—Aukera could be positioned as a category leader within a few years.

Final Take: The Glow-Up Is Real

This is the kind of startup story investors love: visionary founders, smart capital, a trending product category, and a booming market opportunity.

If you haven’t heard of Aukera yet, you’re about to—because with a $71M valuation and high-powered investors backing it, this brand is ready to shine on a global scale.
