Oracle Technology firm is trying to enter the race to grasp TikTok’s North American operations. According to The Financial Times reports- Larry Ellison’s company held talks with ByteDance and he is seriously taking into considering. Anout buying the TikTok app business in the US, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

Oracle will surely have to compete with Microsoft. As, Microsoft in earlier month confirmed that, they met with ByteDance regarding a purchase. Though, if any negotiations occur, it will must probably be completed before Sept. 15. Otherwise, TikTok will be banned in the US, as said by Donald Trump. Trump recently signed two orders, to prohibit the companies from doing business with ByteDance and Tencent. These two companies owns messaging service WeChat. After, a week of signing, Trump’s team joined rival video-sharing all about social network Triller.

Oracle’s co-founder and CTO is Ellison. He is the fifth richest person in the world. He is one of the few people in Silicon Valley, to support Trump, According to The Financial Times noted. On February, 76-year-old Ellison raised a fundraiser for the sitting of president in California.

At, this particular time deal to buy TikTok will really be complicated. As, there is a need of separation of back-end technology from ByteDance. Tiktok which got nationwide ban, meanwhile, wouldn’t stop fans from using the program by a VPN. Oracle, recently is working with venture capital firms General Atlantic. On the other hands, Sequoia Capital to secure a deal, and declined PCMag’s request for comment.

To Fox News, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told that the US government was also looking forward to ban some social media apps, which are offered by Chinese companies, like TikTok. The thing is that China will use these platforms to spy on all users. However, US has not offered any proof of this happening yet.
