Quant Mutual Fund’s AUM Peaks at Rs 94,000 Crore; NAVs Hit Record Levels Amid Regulatory Scrutiny

Quant Mutual Fund has reported a milestone with its assets under management (AUM) reaching an all-time high of over Rs 94,000 crore as of July 12, 2024. This achievement coincides with record net asset values (NAVs) across most of its schemes, the fund house disclosed in a recent communication to investors.

Earlier in the day, Quant Mutual Fund addressed investors via email, clarifying recent developments related to regulatory inquiries into allegations of front-running. The fund’s management emphasized that the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) had initiated an investigation under a court-approved search and seizure operation, distinct from routine procedures.

Despite recent challenges, including net outflows totaling Rs 696 crore in the past three weeks, with equity outflows amounting to Rs 877 crore, Quant Mutual Fund noted that these withdrawals represent less than 1% of its current AUM. The fund remains optimistic about its robust financial health and continues to focus on delivering value amid evolving market conditions.

Quant Mutual Fund’s strong performance underscores its resilience amidst regulatory scrutiny, reinforcing investor confidence in its management and investment strategies.
