Gentari Green Mobility India has unveiled the “Gentari Go” app, a significant advancement in the country’s clean energy landscape. The app integrates a range of sustainable solutions, including electric vehicle (EV) charging, home solar systems, and forthcoming test drive options.

Navjit Gill, Gentari’s Country Head for India, emphasized the company’s dedication to achieving net-zero emissions. “Today’s launch of the Gentari Go app and our new partnerships underline our commitment to advancing clean energy through collaboration with partners, customers, and governments,” Gill stated.

The Gentari Go app benefits from collaborations with Numocity, Statiq, and ChargeZone, providing access to over 1,500 EV chargers across India. Nikhil Thomas, CEO of Gentari Green Mobility India, highlighted the app’s role in promoting green mobility and improving operational efficiency for both businesses and individual users.

The Indian road transport sector is a major contributor to carbon emissions, responsible for over 30% of the total. With a target of achieving 30% electric vehicle adoption by 2030, Thomas envisions 30-40 million EVs on Indian roads in the near future. He expressed confidence that, with supportive policies, this goal is within reach.

The Gentari Go app offers a user-friendly interface designed for both businesses and consumers. Fleet operators can access an extensive network of public chargers, business credits, and telematics support. The app also features tools for individual users to find, activate, and pay for charging services, as well as explore solar energy options through HomeScape by Amplus Solar. Future updates will include the ability to schedule test drives with major EV brands.

Akshit Bansal, Founder & CEO of Statiq, praised the partnership, stating, “Our collaboration with Gentari is a key step toward building a robust and accessible EV charging network in India. By integrating our networks, we aim to make EV charging more seamless and efficient, accelerating the shift towards sustainable transportation.”

Charging point operators can connect with both B2C and B2B customers via the Gentari Go roaming hub. Car manufacturers can enhance user experiences with features like Membership Passes, Credits, AutoCharge, and Plug & Charge.

Gentari Green Mobility’s network now includes over 920 EV chargers in Malaysia, Thailand, and India, alongside more than 3,800 EVs deployed through its Vehicle-As-A-Service (VaaS) program in these regions
