Mukesh Ambani-possessed Reliance Retail, in its entries to the Delhi High Court, has said that Amazon knew about the arrangement since June 2020. Amazon had guaranteed to the Emergency Arbitrator and to the Delhi High Court that it had educated of the exchange between Future Retail and Reliance on September 16, 2020, when FRL transferred the draft plan of combination on its site.

BusinessLine had revealed before that between March 12 and 15, 2020, Amazon was advised by Future that the banks had given notification of occasions of default, requiring the Biyanis to either hamper more advertiser protections or to reimburse the credits because of them.
